Band Bio:

An up and coming teen NYC-based alternative rock band, Spastic Fitts combines elements of post-punk, classic rock and early indie into a distinct, original sound. Comprised of five teenagers (aged 15-18), Spastic Fitts formed in 2013, originally playing grunge covers. However, the teenagers soon began writing original songs and performing across New York its surrounding areas regularly. They released their first single "Helium" in January of 2015 and released their self-titled EP soon after.

Quotes:

-"Just ten seconds into Spastic Fitts’ eponymous debut [EP], you know you are not listening to your average high school band. There is none of the aural feuding and selfish exhibitionism that bogs down so many groups in their opening years. No, instead there is a harmony in style that is developed beyond their years. Perhaps most impressively, Spastic Fitts experiments with changes in tones and pace throughout the song in a way that suggests greatness."

-"This EP is so absurdly epic it makes my head hurt. I've listened to it several times through and I enjoy it more each time. [Spastic Fitts]  are like Warpaint tripped acid and then got a shot of adrenaline; purely awesome! [Lead singer Emma Houton] by the way is a talent - a young Patti Smith. Keep up the great work!"

-"Saw [Spastic Fitts] live and they are incredible! So much energy!"

-...[Spastic Fitts lead single] "Helium" - I dig it.  Cool vibe and effects, I like that solo too.  Sounding like some gnarly dirty filtered stuff.  Very cool.
